Château de la Resle | Montigny-la-Resle

A French Boutique Hotel and design label fully specialized in Dutch design. All the objects are inspired by the art & design collection of its Dutch owners. Crowning a hill in the renowned winemaking region of Burgundy, Château de la Resle has the charm and personality of a well-loved private home. The six elegant rooms and suites are taken care of by Dutchmen Johan Bouman and Pieter Franssens, who invite guests to share the French, ivy-wrapped manor house they painstakingly restored. Adding to the feeling of romance and exclusivity is Johan and Pieter’s personal collection of contemporary art and design, which attracts fellow connoisseurs from around the world.

Hotel Lone in Rovinj, Istria, Croatia, represents a design-focused synergy of functionality, harmony and elegance. Like a luxury cruise liner nestled on the hillside, the seductive, minimalist curves of Hotel Lone’s design are influenced by the area’s unique natural landscape. Just like in a contemporary art museum, every detail in this hotel will awaken your desire to explore. Installations in the hotel lobby were made by innovative artists: Ivana Franke – “Room for running ghosts“ and Silvio Vujičić – “In the hanging garden no one speaks“.

Gramercy Park Hotel | New York City

The Hotel is a modern take on a traditional grand New York Hotel, with its custom-designed, handcrafted furnishings and rotating collection of 20th century artwork, including masterpieces from Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Damien Hirst.

Otto Ernst Wiesenthal, the owner of the hotel Altstadt Vienna has a unique art collection and shows it throughout his hotel. You can find works of art from Niki de Saint Phalle or Annie Leibowitz, Andy Warhol, Walter Schmögner, Markus Prachensky and lots more. The rooms and suites have been designed by different creatives like Atil Kutoglu, Matteo Thun, Andi Lackner, Lena Hoschek, Lilli Hollein, POLKA, Gregor Eichinger and many more. Each room in the hotel has its very own personality.

Schlosshotel Berlin by Patrick Hellmann | Berlin

Built in 1911 in the 18th century Renaissance style of the French palaces, this architectural masterpiece boasts breathtaking views of an idyllic garden from individually styled guest rooms and suites.

The Dolder Grand | Zurich

Sir Norman Foster’s hotel “The Dolder Grand”, with its futuristic building high above Zurich, has become a mecca for art lovers. In collaboration with the Galerie Gmurzynska, hotel owner Urs E. Schwarzenbach brought together more than 100 works of art of the highest quality. Some are reserved for house guests on the individual floors to the rooms. The majority, however, are located in the public spaces. Salvador Dalí’s “Femmes métamorphosées”, for example, welcome guests at the entrance to the award-winning “The Restaurant”, and the four paintings “Les Quatre Saisons” by the impressionist Pissarro adorn the Private Dining Room. And Henry Moore’s sculpture “Three-piece reclining figure: Draped” takes its place on the terrace. On the way to the spa, “Le Monde” by Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely can be discovered, and directly above the reception hangs Andy Warhol’s ten-meter-wide and multi-million-euro “Big Retrospective Painting“.

21c Museum Hotel | Nashville

21c Museum Hotel is a Louisville-based combination contemporary art museum and boutique hotel chain. The first Hotel was launched in 2006 by Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson, contemporary art collectors and preservationists who are committed to broadening public access to thought-provoking contemporary art. Following the success, additional 21c locations were put into motion, with 8 currently in operation.

The Dwell Hotel | Chattanooga
